A residential building with two apartments for officials was completed in 1937. A plot of land located just behind the building was set aside for an orchard and vegetable garden for the use of the workers living permanently in the settlement. Seasonal workers were only allowed to grow vegetables. The original brown glaze tiled stoves and stoves with heat walls have been preserved to this day in the building. The last permanent resident of Rabasaare, a lady named Maie, also lived in this building, but left during Christmas 2019. There have officially been no permanent residents in the village since 18 May 2020.
